I’m a film editor working across feature films, television, documentaries, animation, and the art world. My career began at Pixar Animation Studios, where I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo. That early experience shaped my understanding of the craft and set me on a path of working with visionary filmmakers and artists.

Over the years, I’ve edited feature films such as RIVER OF FUNDAMENT and DRAWING RESTRAINT 9 by Matthew Barney, Leonardo DiCaprio’s environmental documentary The 11th Hour, and Masked and Anonymous, the cult film by Larry Charles and Bob Dylan, where I had the chance to collaborate with Academy Award-winning editor Pietro Scalia.

I’ve also worked extensively in documentary storytelling, editing projects like Death by Numbers (Academy Award® nominee for Best Documentary Short), Breakin’ on the One (ESPN), directed by JAMS&BASH, La Guerra Civil (DAZN), directed by Eva Longoria (Sundance 2022), and Siempre, Luis (Sundance 2020).

I see editing as a craft that evolves with every project I take on—each film challenges me in new ways and pushes me to refine my approach. My work has been nominated for Academy Awards® and featured at Sundance, Cannes, and other top festivals. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients such as Netflix, ESPN Films, HULU, HBO/MAX, National Geographic, Vice, The New York Times, RadicalMedia, Jigsaw Productions, NOWNESS, DAZN, and Sotheby’s, among many others.

Born in Mexico City, I studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Interactive Telecommunications Program and later taught film editing in the MFA program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Film Department. I’m fully bilingual in Spanish and English and always open to exciting projects in New York City and beyond.
